While most vets classify 8 year old large dogs and 9 year old small-to-medium dogs as seniors, we at The Spot feel that “senior” is more of a vibe than a number.

Is your dog super chill?
Are their days of hikes and rambunctious playing behind them?
Does he/she love sleeping and lounging but preferably in the comfort of others?

(We all know those dogs who don’t really relax when alone — the ones who don’t let their owners out of their sights and follow them incessantly…)

Then they’ll dig The Spot!

And what human might benefit from The Spot Senior Dog Lounge?
Well to be clear, the age of the human means nothing.

But participants could be just about anyone:

• perhaps someone who works outside of the home and feels guilty for leaving their dog alone each day
• or someone who needs to run errands, wants to include their dog on the adventure but simply doesn’t want to leave them in the car for extended periods

If that describes you and/or your dog, then The Spot Senior Dog Lounge might be what you’re looking for!!

The Spot boasts tons of high quality orthopaedic dog beds and soft blankets in all sizes meaning your dog will be comfy regardless of their level of mobility.

And if your senior pooch can still leap like a deer and prefers a higher vantage, we also have a few lower-to-the-ground furnishings that they are more than welcome to snooze on.

(And bonus — each one of those is surrounded by thick non-slip rubber flooring giving our guests solid traction and protection for all their daily ups and downs…)

The Spot will be open Monday-Friday from 7am until 6pm.

We charge $40 for a full days stay and $25 for a half day (5 hours maximum) plus GST.
